Lovely and clean and wonderfully large rooms. Location was perfect for our needs. Very friendly and helpful people. Could I please single out the night porter who was a most helpful lady
Dislikes:
Very very clean hotel but a slight musty smell in the roons.

It is unusualto find a hotel that will accommodate guests with pets. The Donard does. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Perfect place to stay for a short break for dog lovers.

Hotel had a certain character about it. owner pat was helpful and courteous. my 92 yr old mother enjoyed the ambience. So did my two children.
Dislikes:
No headboard on two beds. No hairdryer or clothes press as advertised. no doors on adjoining room.

thank you for your kind review. The family room 214 has no headboards because we frequently move beds and furniture around depending on number and type of beds required to accommodate each family.Hairdryer and ironing board available on request in family rooms but previous experiences with children in some of these rooms has resulted in us removing the fixed ironing station and hairdryer from these family rooms. The interconnecting rooms are not separated by doors to meet fire safety regulation
